Who we areThe vision of VIA INNO

VIA INNO is a project created in 2009 within the Bordeaux School of Economics (BSE) laboratory at the University of Bordeaux, and now labeled as a research platform by the University of Bordeaux.

Since its creation, VIA INNO's vision has remained unchanged: Technology intelligence is a professional expertise, and VIA INNO exists to make it more operational, useful and accessible to all players in research and innovation.

To address these challenges, we have been committed for over 10 years to :

  • Raising awareness and providing training on technology intelligence approaches.
  • Assisting organizations in integrating technology intelligence approaches.
  • Demonstrating the the practical value of technology intelligence.
  • Contributing to the advancement of our expertise field and developing the technology intelligence of the future.
  • Structuring, formalizing, and sharing the knowledge and know-how required for the practice of technology intelligence.

VIA INNOOur history

  • In 2024
    The return of the IT Workshops. Free and created in 2014 by VIA INNO, Bordeaux INP, and the Aquitaine Robotics cluster, this workshop connects companies, economics students, and engineering students during two half-days.
  • 2023
    VIA INNO has more than 50 public and private partners.
  • 2020 
    The 5th edition of the "Technology Intelligence Meeting" exhibition, organized by VIA INNO in collaboration with the L'Oréal group!
  • 2019 
    Obtained the label of the University of Bordeaux's research platform.
  • 2018 
    The 4th edition of the "Technology Intelligence Meeting" exhibition, organized by VIA INNO in collaboration with the Michelin group.
  • 2016 
    Renewal of the OpenLab Competitive Intelligence with the PSA Group.
  • 2014 
    Signing of 3 joint laboratories, bringing the total number of research structures supported by VIA INNO to 4.
  • 2012 
    Obtained the label of the Center for Societal Innovation (CIS) as part of the University of Bordeaux's Initiative of Excellence.
  • 2009
    Establishment of VIA INNO, funded by the shared platform project of the Aquitaine Region.
